We got a call from Steve that he would like to order the tew VibeTool and Trebletool pedals so we arranged a meetingat the BosPop festival in Weert (Netherlands) where he played with Billy idol. It was a really great show. Steve has major control over his guitar gear and his playing is stunning!
The meeting was a great experience. He invited us to the last European gig in a sold out Paradiso in Amsterdam to see the whole show.

Backstage we had a great meeting with Nils Lofgren of Bruce Springsteens E-street Band. A overwhelming performance of the Boss, still a lot of energy!
Angelo de Rijke, guitarplayer for Anouks band did a great performance using the FuzzTool.
It was a great experience and we enjoyed every minute.
Just to to get an idea what he saying about his first contact with the pedals.
With Tony’s permission here is a copy paste for the mail he sent to us.
Hi guys,I spent the morning with a clear head and played the pedals. I liked them arranged in this order: My guitar into: Colorsound tonebender, Wah pedal (no mod yet), FuzzTool, TrebleTool and Ibanez S-D1. (I unhooked my tuner for now.)
Let’s start with the TrebleTool:
If you were looking at a clock, the settings are: Gain-at 1:00, Tone- Between 10:00 & 11:00, and T.M.F.- between 10:00 & 11:00.
This pedal gives a crispy clean boost to my sound. Without the pedal on, my guitar tone gets lost and I end up turning my guitar volume up to 10. With the TrebleTool on, I can keep my guitar volume at a lower, reasonable level and the tone cuts through with a beautifull sparkle! It works well with all 3 guitars, Les Paul, Strat and Tele. It gives the Les Paul a really nice “Peter Green tone!” It gives the Strat & Tele that sparkling “Rory Gallagher sound!” ( A very nice boost and clarity for my clean sound.) I like it used alone, not with anything else on. (At least for now, I may change my mind with more time.)
FuzzTool:
If you were looking at a clock, the settings are: Volume-between 10:00 & 11:00, Gain-at 2:00, and T.M.F.-at 10:00. I compared this to my own Fuzz Face. My Fuzz has a lot of hiss and a lot of bass that is unuseable. With the FuzzTool I was able to dial out the annoying low end and just get the tone I am looking for. With my Les Paul I got a great retro tone like old Z.Z.Top. That cool early Billy Gibbons tone! With the Strat, I got the classic Foxy Lady, Hendrix tone. I also like to use this box by it’self. It works better this way.
My Ibanez SD1 gets a smooth creamy tone and with my Tonebender on at the same time I can get the sustain with all 3 variations of harmonic feedback. I have been missing the barking midtones of the FuzzTool and now the spectrum is complete.
I could most definitely use these two sounds as it covers most of the tones I have been missing.
Thanks,
Tony
More to come Paul And Ad “Stay effected” and please check out some of Tony’s work!
During the Guitar Experience in Hilversum at 21st of March Marcus Machado, guitarplayer in the band of Boris visited our stand. He tried the FuzzTool and loved it, it fitted his Jimi / SRV playing style perfectly. He will visit the GuitarSystems workshop to select a FuzzTool for his upcoming tour with the Boris Band.
Joost Vergoossen, one of the first users of the TrebleTool, is testing the FuzzTool at our stand. Joost is using the TrebelTool in combination with his Line 6 amps intensively during the recording of the new Kayak CD and is impressing the sound engineers with his “magic black box”
And also nice to see Felix and Rick, some upcoming Guitar Heroes joined our stand and tried our Tools.
