Back in 2003, I was working as a software engineer on a project at a Dutch insurance company together with Leon Pennings. Because of our mutual music addiction (Leon as a guitarist and myself as a DJ) we came to speak about Paul's work. Leon mentioned that Paul was developing a midi controller and that he was looking for someone who could help him out with the electronic circuit- and software design. At that time I was starting up my own company (Peek-A-Boo Music), and participating in product development seemed like a logical next step. The first meeting with Paul was arranged shortly afterwards, and since then I have played my part in the development of the GasPedal.
At this moment, the GasPedal has been launched at the Frankfurt Musikmesse 2007 (Special thanks to Bernd Aufermann, Christian Schlossarek and family for their hospitality at the Engl Amps booth !!!).
In 2008 we will be attending the Musikmesse again and the NAMM Show at Anaheim (California, USA) as well!
In the meantime we have been working out some new ideas, so keep an eye on this website when you're interested in our new products!
We might even end up in the studio to do some (re)mixing of Paul's projects...
