Software Editor
"The GasPedal" is now ready for a new generation of players, due to the software editor and a standard RS232 to USB allowing a connection to Mac® and Windows® based computers.
Connection screen
By connecting the controller to your laptop and selecting a free serial port, you are able to edit all functions and download software updates directly from the Internet.
Configuration screen
This section can be used to change channels, controller numbers and patch numbers for all control- and program changes.
The program change screen gives you an overview of all program changes that are sent for all banks and presets!
The Store/Restore functionality and the text editor for the external display (optional feature) completes the configuration screen.
Import/Export screen
This section allows you to backup and restore your settings.
You can start by editing the default configuration that is shipped with your GasPedal, save it as an XML file and share it with others.
You can restore the configuration to the GasPedal whenever you want to revert to your previous (or someone else's) settings.
Remote Control screen
When your GasPedal is out of reach (e.g. when you are crowdsurfing, climbing a light truss or getting a beer backstage) you can ask your roadie or guitar tech to use the remote control section of the GasPedal Editor.
Because of the use of a standard USB to serial connector, the cable length from the GasPedal to your computer is limited by the maximum RS232 cable length (which is 15 meters or 50 feet). For larger distances we can offer a custom solution.
